ESG Program

Value Creation

Cimbria believes Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) value creation is only achieved via disciplined habits and processes – and only if this programming unlocks measurable financial value and yields investment risk mitigation (down-side protection).

Via its acquisition of ESG specialist firm Madeira Global, Cimbria refined an internal ESG framework to support its mission as a General Partner and created an ESG pre-investment screening process now included in its due diligence process of investment opportunities.

Cimbria’s Negative Screen includes a standard list of 50 risk criteria representing activities in environmental, social, and governance areas.

Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)

Cimbria recognizes the importance of ESG and has made proactive integration of ESG screening a top priority. This is why the firm intends to become a signatory to the United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).
